Dated and permanent — an edition is never rewritten after publication; corrections land in its changelog.
The week's fund-industry signal, curated: fund launches and closes, manager and
servicer moves, and figures from our own registers. Every trade-press item links its
source and ends with why it matters to someone who runs or services funds. Trade-press
items are published only after every cited source was machine-verified; register
figures are computed from the published data files. This is a dated, permanent
edition — it is not updated after publication; corrections land in the changelog.
Ibex Investors has closed its second Israel secondaries fund at $87m. That is more than double the $40m debut vehicle it raised less than two years ago. The quick follow-on marks Ibex's shift from first-time sponsor to repeat manager with a track record.
Oxford Finance has raised $368m in the first year of a new asset-based lending strategy. It has already deployed the capital across five deals ranging from $25m to $160m, averaging over $70m each.
Zero Infinity Partners has closed its second infratech fund at $156m. That beats its debut fund's size by 50%. The close came just three years after that first fund launched, and it was oversubscribed. Specialist capital for early-stage infratech is still scarce. A quick, larger follow-on shows LPs backing the strategy before it has a long track record.
PCCP has closed a combined $5bn across its latest US real estate equity and credit funds. Each vehicle is sized well above its predecessor. Both strategies are already deploying capital. Stepping up both the equity and credit funds together points to demand across the platform, not just one strategy.
M&G Investments has priced the fifth Margay CLO, upsizing it to €457m on investor demand. The programme now runs more than €2bn of CLO assets within a €10bn loan platform, itself part of M&G's €27bn structured and private credit strategy. It's the first Margay deal since Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan agreed in July to commit up to €200m to the European CLO business. That adds a named pension backer alongside M&G's own balance sheet. M&G refinanced Margay CLO II, priced at €405.4m in May 2024, back in January 2026, pointing to a now-regular refinancing cadence.
Metrics Credit Partners has suspended trading in three ASX-listed funds. KPMG's audit found different valuation inputs than the firm's preliminary figures used. Net tangible asset value fell 12.16% for the Real Estate Multi-Strategy Fund, 10.08% for the Income Opportunities Trust, and 1.99% for the Master Income Trust. Metrics runs about AUD40bn ($28.1bn) in total, so the cuts hit a small slice of its book. All three funds also saw higher loan-loss provisions, tied to rate, macro and regulatory risks.
Millennium has pulled in over $30bn of commitments against a $20bn target for a new capital vehicle. About $22bn should finalise on 1 October. The firm manages $97bn, so this raise adds meaningfully to that base. It uses a drawdown structure, like a private-equity fund, rather than a normal subscription. Millennium calls roughly $2bn in October and phases the rest over four years. President Ajay Nagpal is leading the raise, which follows the tie-up with Bobby Jain's multi-strategy business. The goal is broader investor access to the firm's 360-plus trading teams, and to replace some outside-manager capital with its own. Several major multi-strat platforms are still closed to new money or keep redemption limits in place.
Institutional investors committed $190bn to private credit funds in the first half of 2026, up 53% on a year earlier. Retail-facing flows in the same asset class faced redemption pressure and volatility over the same period.

New entries in the public registers we track, by domicile: Luxembourg 33, Ireland 2, Bermuda 1. Counts are of new register entries (not a de-duplicated fund universe). Observed between register readings of 2026-09-13 and 2026-09-20.
First Form D notices — new pooled funds, not amendments, up 16% on the month before. From the SEC quarterly datasets; the monthly formation flow is charted on our fund registrations page.
6,653 plan-fund rows across 31 pension plans' own disclosures (plan as-of dates 2024-09-30 to 2026-05-31). Median net IRR across 4,235 disclosed positions of vintage 2021 or earlier: 11.9%. Cross-plan holdings are the signal — see the PE performance pages.
The longest streak is Chicago (IL) Teachers (Illinois): 25 consecutive years below the actuarially required amount, averaging 60% of it. A single low year happens; the streak is the signal — unpaid required contributions compound exactly like the returns the plans assume.
