Duco reports that 12 banks and financial institutions cut manual post-trade reconciliation work by an average of 76% in production trials of its agentic AI tools. The participants include Blackstone Credit & Insurance and CIBC Mellon. Building reconciliation processes took more than 91% less time, and process optimisation took 84% less. Break investigation and workflow management time fell by more than 73%. The agents sit on top of Duco’s rule-based reconciliation platform. The figures are Duco’s own, and the report does not describe sign-off arrangements.

For funds, this is a measured result from live operations in the task that takes NAV and reconciliation teams the most time. It lands as the UK and EU move to T+1 settlement, which leaves less time to clear breaks.

In practice: operations leads and fund administrators can ask their reconciliation provider what share of break investigation the agents handle. They can also ask who signs off each resolved break and how the audit trail records why an agent acted.
